Internet Marketing Strategies – How to Develop High Impact
Information Products

As an Internet marketer or a business person breaking into
the online business world, one method of increasing your
online profits is by offering information products and
coaching programs. If you are going to go this route, you
have to make sure that you fully understand what goes into
developing high quality information products and programs
along with knowing that you possess the skills to develop
great programs.

No different with developing curriculum programs for
colleges and universities, the same methodologies go into
developing information products.

A few of the strategies, tips and techniques that you can
implement in developing high impact information products and
programs are:

1. Take the critical and most important techniques and
skills from each area of expertise you were going to cover
in your product, extract the important information, and,
probably more importantly, show the reader how to implement
all of these techniques together to produce the very best
results.

2. One thing that is important to understand is that not
everything you cover in your product material may apply
to your customer’s life or business. By collecting all of
the information in the manner outlined in this article,
instead of getting just what applies to their own life or
business, they will have useful information for future
reference and additional areas of concern depending on the
topic you cover. If as they are reading your material,
they are not sure if something really applies to them or
not, they can email you. Let them know not to waste time
doing work they do not need to do if it obviously does not
apply to them.

3. Make sure you give them an overview at the beginning of
the information product or program and let them know, by
studying the entire course and all of the lessons, they will
gain a wealth of useful information that will help them
understand why they need to do the things you mention
concerning the topics you cover. And by understanding why,
it can help them work through new challenges, just by
applying some logic to the new problem or difficulty.

By following these easy to implement steps, you can rapidly
develop valuable high impact informational products for your
audience.

How to Use Advanced Twitter Marketing Techniques

To safeguard yourself from falling into the Twitter time
management trap and to keep ahead of your market with an
effective social media strategy, make sure that each tweet
you send contains valuable quality information that your
followers want to read and also respond to as many tweets as
possible. If you are using a free online tools such as
TweetDeck, this tool can be used to filter out any people
whose messages you do not wish to see or read. As your list
of followers rises this will become a very big time saver
for you.

The tweets you send to your followers each day on Twitter
should contain a mix of valuable information and data on
your products and services with links back to your blog and
website. Any tweet containing information which is personal
to your business should only be sent out two or three times
per day. The average user of Twitter sends out 6 to 10
messages per day. You can use one of the free online
messaging services to schedule tweets to go out once per
hour. Automatically this will bring you way over the
average. There is no law that says you cannot send out the
same message more than one time per day or several times
per week. This is also a very big time saver.

business can quickly attract an avalanche of visitors who
hopefully can be converted into subscribers and customers.
Once you have them on your main website you can then offer
them a free product which will have your e-mail address

Twitter’s search tool has quickly become one of the top
search engines on the Internet today. Microsoft’s Bing and
Google provide instant listings of tweets. One thing to keep
in mind when sending messages to your niche market followers
is to always include keywords that your market searches for.
This will then provide ammunition in your tweets so they may
possibly become listed very high on the search engines and
within this micro-blogging search tool. One thing to try out
first is to use the search tool, typing in the keywords that
you use on a routine basis with your Internet marketing
business. Also use the keywords that you have determined
your niche market searches for. Once you have conducted a
search using your primary keywords you will come up with a
list of messages or tweets as they are called, that users
have already sent.

As you read through them, follow as many of these users
who appear to be within your target niche. Conduct the
search using your other keywords, and again follow these
users whose messages indicate an interest in these solutions
you provide. Do not add followers every day because
eventually you will have too many people you are following
as compared to followers. If there is too much of a
discrepancy between these two numbers you will not be able
to add any more people you wish to follow.

Following the law of reciprocation, those people who you
follow most times will follow you in return. As long as most
of these people fall within your target niche, each message
or tweet that you send out will be taken to heart since
you are providing valuable information which solves a
possible problem those people are having within their
business. Always remember to be polite, friendly and do not
discuss politics or anything else that could provoke the
emotions of your followers.

Advanced MarketingĀ  – How to Succeed Online Using a Reverse
Sales Funnel

If you are an Internet marketer and sell products online,
overtime you will become aware it where your
customers are entering your sales funnel. That is, what
product level they are buying into whether it be a free
giveaway, a $247 product, or your high ticket coaching
program.

TheĀ  last couple years I’ve experimented with changing my
sales funnel approach from using the traditional lower to
higher priced products, to changing it into a reverse sales
funnel approach. If after you’ve been in business selling
online products for a period of time you will begin to
possibly realize that the majority of your customers are
entering in your sales funnel say at the $77 level. With
this in mind, it would then make sense to possibly eliminate
any products priced lower than that level other than maybe
any free giveaway.

What I did when implementing the reverse sales funnel
approach was to eliminate any products I sold that were
under $77. Again, as I mentioned above, I did keep my free
giveaway item to still draw traffic and subscribers.

I introduced a $197 e-coaching service, a $497 tele-coaching
service, and produced a $997 video-home study course. Above
this level, I have several consulting services and freelance
offers to assist customers in developing specific portions
of their online business.

What was the initial impact of this change on my business?

First, prior to the change I was making $11,000 per month on
sales with approximately 326 transactions. I average 200
transactions for $10 each. By eliminating the $10 product it
was assumed that profits would decrease by $2000 worth
of business the first month.

But, something very interesting happened. By adding in a
$197 product, one tenth the number of transactions came in,
But, that was just on the $97 product. So the numbers were
roughly 20 transactions at $197 for revenue of $3940.

Your Next Step:

I challenge you to think about what changing your sales
funnel might do for you. Perhaps it might not mean the
elimination of your lower priced items. Perhaps it means
simply promoting to your prospects a stronger mix of higher
priced products. Perhaps it means combining a few of your
lower priced items, adding some strong content, and then
selling the combo product for a much higher price – and
continue to sell the best-seller out of your lower priced
items as an ‘excerpt’ or ‘sample’.

Revise the low-priced item to reflect this, and put a link
to the full-version in the product itself, so when the
prospect/buyer has read the book, they will be given an
offer for the full version. You can also use the sample or
excerpt version as a lead in sale, then use the full version
as a backend product.

Perhaps at this point, you have a couple of lower-priced
products, and have been considering creating the next
product in your funnel. What about jumping a few levels in
your sales funnel? You can always add the mid-priced
products back in the future.

The strategies I’ve mentioned in this article are what used
to go from 0 to $16,000 in less than a year and attract a
different level of subscriber and customer to my offers.
